Lettie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1979.  She received 48 Continuing Education Units from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA in 1984.  She went on to earn her Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University in 2001. She became a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker on May 5, 2008.
She worked for the County of Santa Clara in the Social Services Agency for over 20 years working in various departments including, Aging and Adult Services; Children and Family Services; Clover House Visitation Center; and the Children’s Shelter.   
In 2009 she began her own private practice at Counseling and More offering behavioral health services to the people in the City of Tracy, CA where she resides in order to better aid the people in her community and the tri-valley area.  She provides therapy for ages five to older adults and enjoys the variety of providing individual, couples and family therapy.  
Lettie’s goal is to create a safe place for clients to be able to do the processing and therapeutic work necessary to spark change and enable healing.  Her approach to behavioral health is multifaceted and includes holistic and cognitive components in addition to focusing on each individual spiritual, emotional, psychological and relational need.
